Walgreens Pharmacy

I understand if the pharmacy is backed up. But don’t tell someone 30 mins and you come back 50 minutes later and it’s still not ready. Then say it might be ready in 15 minutes to only say that it won’t be ready tonight.

The one cashier available seemed overwhelmed by the customers waiting for help in different stations, photos, cashier, and FedEx drop-offs. It looked like every other employee was taking a break other than that this store is conveniently located and easy to access. Plenty of parking available.

I came with my wife and kids for COVID shots. We had appointments and I checked in online after the pharmacist told me to do it. After 20+ minutes a different staff member said you had to check in at the desk "or I won't know you are here." After waiting in line again we finally got seen 45 minutes late. What is the point of appointments and the online check-in if the staff ignores it.

30 min hold time to get through the pharmacy just for the phone to ring a good 2 minutes and still no answer

Staff is typically pretty friendly and helpful. The wait times are very long during peak hours. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether you wait in line inside the pharmacy or in the drive-through. If you're calling, be prepared to hold for a while, too. But when you do get to speak to someone, it's typically fast from there. I do like the extended pharmacy hours. Working in Healthcare myself, it's immensely helpful to have a pharmacy that's open so late! Just avoid calling and going around lunchtime, and after the 9-5 workers get off. It will save you 30+ minutes.
