Go support a local pharmacy. This place (no fault to the workers) is a disaster. There is always a line and the wait time for prescriptions called in several hours in advance can hover around an hour, which for a sick person can feel like an eternity. Walgreen’s is also owned by private equity—so they don’t care if you suffer or their employees suffer. The workers are running around distressed trying to keep up with the volume of prescriptions, when an evil corporation could easily hire more workers. Go support a family-owned, independent pharmacy which will support humans and not some bank. This Walgreen’s is a portrait of late stage capitalism. Some locally owned pharmacies to take your business to instead: Parker Pharmacy, Black Rock Pharmacy, Ivylea Pharmacy, Rahma Pharmacy, Starling P

Routinely, for 7 out of 24 months, gave me either 10 or 20 less of a schedule 2 substance. Horrific, ask them to recount, every time. Once I had them 'recount' but apparently it wasn't under the security cameras. Another time the aid told me that I got 10 extras and that they're glad I asked them to triple count - BS. Someone is skimming. Another time I got some old ladies diabetes medication instead of my schedule 2; thankfully I live two blocks away and immediately turned around when I realized. Took them 20 minutes to find my script, which was stashed in some strange spot where the lead pharm tech was absolutely furious about. Avoid at all costs. I do not like saying bad things about anybody, or anything; this is one of the very few times I think it's okay to give a warning. Go

Hands down the worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. Down with the flu right now and got a prescription for tamaflu. Had it sent here because of the appealing “24/7” availability. I was on hold for well over an hour before I finally gave up. Then the next day, I call to find out they can’t fill the prescription anyway. So I call CVS to get it transferred, and CVS tries calling them. They’re on hold for over an hour and a half. They call me back and notify me that they can’t get ahold of them, and give me the information necessary to get the transfer started. I get on the line with them and they’re like, “CVS needs to call us.” I respond with, “yes, I know, they tried, but were on hold for over an hour.” So they transfer me. The lady then says, “CVS needs to call us.” I’m like, “yeah. I

Jam at the printing station has phenomenal customer service skills. Brightened my day. Gave the time of day to everyone that needed him while helping multiple customers such as myself with complex orders/requests. He is an asset to the store and I wish him well, he’s clearly very personable, knowledgeable, patient, friendly and helpful! A refreshing experience!

It doesn't matter what time of day it is. If you are picking up a script in store, or the drive through, YOU WILL BE IN A LONG LINE. If you are shopping, be prepared to wait in line as well. 60% of the store products are locked behind cases. Even something as simple as a candy bar! And yes, there is a 95% chance you will be asked for money by someone hanging out, or sleeping, on the sidewalk directly in front of the store entrance. I was forced to go here after my Rite Aid closed. I am searching for a new pharmacy for sure!! I suggest you may want to avoid this location if at all possible.
