Walgreens Pharmacy

I was in Walgreens to pick up a prescription today 8/2/2022 at 11am. There was an elderly lady with a back brace and a cast on her arm. She explained to the 40 something dark haired man behind the counter that she was there for a shot and had come a little early because that is when she was able to get there. When she explained that she was disabled he very rudely replied no it wasn't possible to get her shot early even though there was no one waiting on line and then said that it took him 4 hours to get to work this morning. Such a condescending and dismissive person should not be in a position to deal with the public. I can understand why this pharmacy has bad reviews.

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to, period. Service is severely lacking, pharmacy is managed poorly, prescriptions are slow to fill if filled at all. Pharmacists will not communicate with the patient nor can you get anyone on the phone. The store management is inept and ineffective and the selection is limited. Items are frequently out of stock and are more expensive than the RiteAid that used to be there. Avoid at all possible costs if you don't want to be aggravated.

0 stars for the pharmacy. Put in a request to refill my prescription and 4 days later it was still processing. When I called they said they hadn't seen it and would have it ready the next day. I'm currently in line to pick up and have been waiting for 45 minutes with a 7 month baby. Still have 5 people ahead of me. They always have a long line and usually get your prescription ready when you get to the counter even when the app states that they are ready for pick up. TERRIBLE!

The other reviews are 100% true. Absolutely the worst pharmacy in the area. No one picks up the phone ever- you will have ‘one caller’ in front of you for 45 minutes no doubt. The lines are huge even on ‘quiet’ days or as soon as they open. Just terrible. I would rather not have the medicine than do this again. Beware send your scripts to anyone else but here unless you enjoy waiting in line for hours.

Pharmacy wrongly cancelled covid 19 vaccine appointment for a school essential worker even after the website said the worker was eligible and allowed me to schedule the appointment for them. Some shady stuff going on here. The manager is not following corporate's policy. Walgreens was not vaccinating under 65s for a long time, but now they are per the scheduling website which is how I was able to get the appointment. They willfully went against corporate who I will be calling next.
