Walgreens Pharmacy

The only Walgreens in the Keys that closes by 7pm yet when you live in Big Pine and lookup Walgreens Pharmacy it gives every other Pharmacy showing it should be open. Do better for your locals.

Collette and all the staff are here at this Walgreens are amazing and so very helpful. I am a heart transplant patient and I take a lot of medications that are extremely critical and can be difficult to get in. I had issues with specialty pharmacies not being able to handle my needs in a timely basis. The amount of work involved in getting them in for me on time is extensive, I cannot thank Collette and her staff enough for all they do to make this happen. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

There WAS an amazingly caring pharmacist working at this location for the past year or so. I think her name was Alesha? I'm not exactly sure of her name. She was amazing and took the time to explain everything and even my options when there was a national shortage of my medication. I'd give 5 stars if she were still there, but apparently, she moved. This just leaves us with the "other pharmacist", now...he's an older gentleman who doesn't seem to care or even want to HELP people. Every other Walgreens my family has ever used were willing to fill prescriptions 1, sometimes 2, days early, because it's completely legal to do so, especially when it's for a long-time customer, who is asking for a 1 day early refill, so as to not have to travel all the way out to the pharmacy just to be told "No

Kyla in the pharmacy was unreasonably aggressive and rude. There were issues with medications and she did not start off with any information in order for me to try and figure out how to help or what was going on. She then asked if I was even listening or if I was just patronizing her, when she was clearly just already angry before she called. She has the worst customer service skills I have ever experinced.

Regarding only the pharmacy... They never answer the phone. Rude In Person. Slow to transfer, order and fill.
