Walgreens Pharmacy

I was scheduled for major surgery and my surgeon' s office sent in all my prescriptions I would need post-op. This Belen location was out of narcotic pain medicine and said they didn't know when they would get any in. What kind of pharmacy doesn't know when they can get any pain medication for surgery? My surgeon's office had to send the order to the Los Lunas, NM location near Camelot Blvd and they did have what was required and were also very nice about it. Refreshing for a change ! I don't understand why this Belen, NM location is frequently out of stock of certain medications. Why doesn't corporate just close this store. as they fail to meet the needs of the community here. And what's worse..is they act as if they don't care. What a joke.

After changing my pharmacy from the West Side location to this location I have had nothing but the best experience. Very understanding staff my prescriptions are always available when needed, at the West Side location I'd be told that they need to order it causing me to have to wait days upon days when I actually needed this medication on time. With this store I've never had a problem and enjoy going there to pick up my prescriptions!

These people are saints. I wish the entire staff the very best. Give them all the respect you have.

Drive thru line was long (7cars) so we decided to walk in. There was also a line inside about 8 people ahead of us. The line went fast, we were at the register within 5 minutes. A young blonde girl greeted us very nicely. I wish I asked her name because she was wonderful. (She had a mermaid tattoo on her right arm.) She informed us there was a problem with our Rx due to an insurance issue. We waited about a minute for her to get help fixing the problem. She said it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. We said ok but then she said “you only need 15 pills, let me just go fill it for you right away.” I was standing there in so much pain, I was relieved she offered to do that for us. Well done Walgreens! Please give this young lady a pat on the back. You are lucky to have her.

I always have a pleasant experience when coming here. I get mix ups at the pharmacy sometimes but they always work hard to fix it. The photo area is a lot of fun if you have an itch for photo cups, posters, or calendars.
