Walgreens Pharmacy at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA)

I had a disappointing experience with customer service. The staff member with bluish-green hair was noticeably rude and dismissive when I came in with my younger brother to ask about a prescription. If someone is unhappy in their role, it might be worth considering a different career path. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for parents already under stress to face such unkind treatment.

Staff member "Kat" really came through getting 3 prescriptions filled for us even though our normal Walgreens is in Alabama. Thanks Kat !!!

This location is absolutely terrible. From the wait time to the techs. There are humans on this planet who should NOT be working with people, certainly not around children. Some of them are employed here. There is no reason to yell or talk loud at the counter. 1. It is a CHILDRENS hospital. 2. Have discernment,we are parents with sick kids. We have more than enough to deal with. Use adult skills, i.e., communication, when dealing with customers. It could possibly make the process smoother. We didn't force them to work at walgreens, don't be upset that you have to actually WORK with a ton of sick kids.

Note: This is specifically for CHLA specialty pharmacy.... Being a pharmacy at a children's hospital you think you would be nice and more caring, everyone is so rude, its not just one person its everyone at the counter. Been coming here for almost a year and never get a person with great customer service, you don't like your job, gooo.. these families here are already going through so much we don't need their tude on top of it all. Also, how long it takes to fill prescriptions is a joke. I called in my son's meds for refills 2 days ago and here today to pick them up and still having to wait 30 minutes for them to be filled. Come on CHLA there has to be better service. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've dealt with, not just once, everytime.

Was told it was my fault their could not refill prescription because I was not specific when it came to tablet vs compound form when I clearly told the pharmacist that I always get it tablet form. To make matters worse, the tablets were already filled the day before so I left without the prescription even though it was ready for pick up. Do better.
