Walgreens Pharmacy

.I recently went to a Walgreens pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions about 10 minutes before closing and had an extremely unpleasant experience—one that I plan to escalate. Unfortunately, this is the second negative encounter I’ve had at a Walgreens pharmacy, both times involving controlled substances. The first incident occurred when I was denied my clonazepam because the staff thought I was inebriated. I wasn’t—I was in withdrawal after being without my medication for some time. Instead of showing understanding, they asked me to leave the store. This second visit was just as frustrating. I was told that the pharmacy never received my referral request, and after going back and forth with the technician at the drive-thru, I asked to speak directly with the pharmacist. Getting harder and harder to justify getting things here, pharmacy has to order everything days after it's been ordered, can't get my regular meds because it's always back ordered. The multiple trips just to get a couple of meds is getting old fast

I have an issue and at times haven't picked up prescriptions on a timely manner due to the issue. If you have people in line, the person waiting on a script shouldn't sit at the window for 15 to 20 min. It holds the line up causing a huge backup. I always thought the policy was if they are waiting on a prescription then they should go around to the back of the line. They aren't supposed to put a script in and wait at the window. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to wait on one person. We go through the drive through because we don't want to get out of the car. Not because we want to wait in line...

This Walgreen's has always been pretty awesome to me! I have been going here for 11+ years. Would highly recommend. Most of the pharmacy staff are there for you 100%!
