My partner just had a really distressing experience at this Walgreens. Shortly after having a prescription for Paxlovid sent over to Walgreens, he a call from the pharmacy saying his insurance would not cover any of the cost, and that he would need to either ask for a discount through Pfizer’s website or pay the full cost himself. Fortunately, he knew his insurance would cover it, and called his own insurance company, who confirmed it. When he went to pick up the prescription—which he had been told had been filled—the pharmacist whom he had spoken with on the phone reiterated that it was not covered. Luckily, he had handed his insurance card to the pharmacy technician as soon as he arrived, and she was able to look up his information and confirm that his copay was $0. Bottom line: Walgreen
