We had just got my husband home from the hospital and I was on my way to pick up his prescriptions that he needed last night. I called the pharmacy and actually talked to someone to see what time they closed. She told me 6:00 and I told her I was 5 minutes out and gave her his name and date of birth. I literally pulled into the drive through at 6:01 (you can check your cameras) and they refused to wait on me and would not give me the prescription. He was not on his prescribed medicine until 10:00 this morning which I also at that time addressed the situation from last night. We have been with Wallgreens for over 20 years and are now as of today with HEB’s pharmacy. I had the most pleasant experience at the 82nd and Milwaukee pharmacy today. The pharmacy tech was professional and friendly. He checked to be sure I was taken care of with a discount code and gave me refill info. I appreciated his demeanor and his help!

I’ve been using this pharmacy for about a year and a half because of the convenience of the location, but not once during that entire time have they ever had my prescriptions ready by the time they say they will. I use the Walgreens app to track the status of my prescriptions, yet every time I go to pick up prescriptions that should be ready the pharmacists on site say they need 20-30 more minutes. There have been multiple times that I end up wasting an entire lunch break waiting for prescriptions that should have been ready when I arrived. If you can avoid this location, or all Walgreens in general, do so.

Good store. Clean, very quickly grab and go all the time. Waiting in line is not that bad at all. Has everything I need for what is on the shelves. Always well stocked. Been going here since 2014 in Texas. Very good brand store. This location here in Lubbock Texas seems well taken care of and well managed.

Please consider using a different Walgreens pharmacy than the one at this location. The past few times I have opted to give this location my business it has been a very disappointing experience. I had the opportunity to witness first hand what I have always felt when filling a prescription at this location... they must not care about your business. While waiting for a prescription I dropped off 3 hours ago I personally saw 5 other customers who left without their medicine. I also heard a tech in a very loud voice tell a customer that had also come back at requested time that since they were getting a "controlled substance" it would be an additional wait.
