Walgreens

I used to go to the LITH and the Algonquin Walgreens and they were horrible. The Crystal Lake location is amazing! They always have my medication in stock. They fill it quickly and the line to pick up my medication is reasonable as long as you AVOID when they have the meal break times. 5 stars all around! This location has the best customer service in the area

Told by pharmacy it would take 2 days for them to fill my prescription which I needed to start taking asap. When I explained the need, they didn't care and said they fill prescriptions in the order we receive them which took them 2 days. Terrible.

This place deserves 5 stars & more. Laly is a prime example of what every employee should strive to be!!! I was pressed on time & Laly was beyond helpful in helping get important documents printed. When all else was going wrong in life (family emergency) she was there to make things easier for us & that can NOT go unnoticed.

Literally the SLOWEST DRIVE THROUGH PHARMACY IN EXISTENCE. I wait 20+ min every time I use their drive through n when sometimes there’s only 1 car in front of me. Today we’re at 24min and counting. Plus 99% of the time they put my prescription together when I get there (when the app said it was filled and ready to pick up). Causing it to take even more time. UPDATE- after waiting for 33 minutes I finally made it to the pickup window where they told me there are “no prescriptions for me” three times until they finally realized that they have no idea what their doing and that I did have a prescription to pick up. And I’m supposed to be trusting these geniuses with my health… LOL never again.

9/25/25 I was at Walgreens on route 14 in Crystal lake. A girl at the register was so rude and doesn't know or doesn't want to answer my questions about reward points. She tried to argue with me in front of other customers. Walgreens have to train their employees or make better requirements for customer service!!!
