Wade Family Medical Center- Adult Health Clinic

I have been a patient of Dr. Carr's for more than 4 years and love her. She is warm and cares about her patients' health and well being. The laboratory staff is greats, especially when they get my blood on the first try. I rarely see her front staff smile; they don't seem very friendly towards patients and that is a turn off. They speak in a matter-of-fact tone. They don't seem to understand they set the tone for the office. People want to know they are appreciated. Kindness is contagious.

Dr.Sandra Carr,. The moment she walks into the room she’s taking mental notes. Her hearing is keen, her gestures are welcoming and polite. As she continues with the pleasantries she’s observing your every movement your every gesture. For me my report was great! Now she ask me about my voice. I’m 57 , male with a raspy voice. I’ve had this voice for ever. Dr. Carr, said ok! It would make her feel better if I would have my voice check out. I agreed the results was stage 1 cancer of the vocal cords. The oncologist was amaze that Dr. Carr, expertise was correct. He ask me to thank her because she caught it so early. No way she should have caught it.It what she was called to do. Dr. Carr is one of the best in her profession.

I have been going to Wade Family Medical Center for over three years. I have been given caring and professional attention. I have had excellent care with every one I have seen. When I see Dr. Carr, she gives me her full attention. She doesn't come in the exam room keeping one foot out of the door. I like her and her staff.

Called to get information about scheduling a visit for a skin infection (stated as soon as I called) and for price of visit without insurance. Was told there this an application for a sliding scale and to be seen for a skin infection would require a initial visit with first available being August of 2018. The simple answer would have been we are booked for new patients out for the year..... an acute clinic would be better suited. Waste of time
