Vons Pharmacy

They are always so kind and patient on the phone which I can imagine is not easy when they are busy but they take the time to help with questions and updates. In person, they are so nice (all of the techs and pharmacists). They explain things clearly and have even advocated for me with doctors. I’ve been using them for over 5 years and have absolutely never had anything other than pleasant and helpful experiences.

Very frustrating experience at this location. I went in to buy toothpaste and shaving cream and was surprised to see that a large portion of the store is locked behind glass. After finding the items I needed, I pressed the call for assistance button multiple times and waited for quite a while, but no one ever came to help. The locked case system is extremely inconvenient and clearly not working. What should have been a quick trip turned into wasted time. I will not be returning to this Vons location.

Did not use the Pharmacy however the store itself has gone down over the years. You are in there twice as long whilst you wait for someone to come and unlock the cupboard to buy anything, waiting ages, as are others. No sense of urgency. The deli has lazy staff and lie. Asked for a cheese, Tom, onion sandwich and was told that side of the deli is closed. When I asked a manager he said the lady was not fully trained to make sandwiches. I told him it was a he not a she to which he replied oh he is trained, he can make sandwiches. I will go a find out what’s going on. I left the store a little hungry and disappointed. Not a problem as more important issues going on in the world however its frustrating when staff cannot be bothered and lie to the customers. There was no queue, not busy at all.

Casey just made my whole day! This man single-handedly turned around a bad day. He was so nice, he gave me the exact timeframe of how long it would take, he spoke very softly and use clear language and helped me out perfectly. There was an issue with my prescription but he told me in a great way and explained everything to me. He’s so nice I’m really happy it was him today and he’s a great employee and I’m really grateful for him!

Absolutely horrible pharmacy. They will call and confirm your prescription only to tell you they can’t give it to you once you’re there. If they know they can’t give out a certain medication, they should communicate that BEFOREHAND, and not confirm a prescription they know they can’t give. Then that Latina woman with glasses gave me attitude as if it’s my fault I believed I could get my prescription they said would be there.
