Vitreo Retinal Associates-Worcester

My husband saw Dr McCabe for years for Macular Degeneration. He saw him in both his Worcester and Leominster offices. Thankfully he was able to keep him from adding blindness to his many health problems. The care here was always top notch, from the office to the techs and especially the doctor. Dr McCabe always took him right in as he was very sick and on oxygen. I highly recommend this doctor. Forever grateful for all his care.

I started seeing Dr. McCabe about 10 years ago when I was 40. He and the entire staff have always been nothing but wonderful. There is typically a wait, but it's because of emergency visits that they are fitting in during the day. I do not have an age related eye disease, but am loosing my vision. If it wasn't for them fitting me in on those emergency visits, I truly believe I would be blind. The doctors and nurses here are actually invested in me as a patient. So glad I found them!

I was seen by Dr Baker as a referral from Reliant medical. Dr Baker was covering and saw me on a Saturday (who does that?) I certainly appreciated it and as it turns out he’s recommended that I wait at least one year before doing anything drastic. Parking does cost $3.00 which is a drag, but that’s UMass for ya.

I was a patient for both Dr. Hong and Dr. Baker. They did an absolutely thorough job in diagnosing and treating my problem which completely restored my vision. They are both very likable guys who are very knowledgeable about their specialties and have been very accommodating to my needs. I give the highest recommendation without reservation.

They overbook intentionally and force people to wait for over an hour for their appts. I’m 27 but most of the people that go to this office have sight issues caused by aging. So they are taking advantage of older people and overbooking their days to make more money. It really is so sad. I waited over an hour and a half for my last appt and it was maybe a 5 min appt (they could have just given me the info over the phone) that I didn’t need to drive an hour for.
