I have never in my life met someone as rude as Dr. Costa. It was so bad the office staff apologized to us and referred us to Dr. Kirkpatrick. My children will only see Dr. Kirkpatrick now, she was wonderful with my children and whenever I came in on the wrong day, she didn’t hesitate to go ahead and see my 17 month old. She is phenomenal! Dr. Costa on the other hand, as soon as I walked into the exam room was extremely rude. When my son whined (she wasn’t playing with him or anything to engage him) she instantly kicked us out of the exam room. Later when she brought us back in she said she already gave him one chance, he starts fussing and I will need to reschedule him. He’s 17 months old and already sat for over an hour. We use the west liberty office and I think we’ve been going around 3 years now. Our most recent visit we had Dr. Costa and let me tell you she and the staff were AMAZING with my 2 year old. It was the most easy painless Dr visit I’ve ever had with him. I highly recommend using their office for the whole family but especially the littles.

Dr. Kirkpatrick is AMAZING! She’s super nice and patient with kids. I highly recommend her! Dr. Angela Costa is RUDE and hateful and judgmental. She tried to tell me how to parent my child. She yelled at me for having my son on a phone because we had to wait an hour and 45 minutes! She accused me of letting my kids have unlimited screen time and that’s why their eyes were bad. Psa, my son had 20/20 vision and has less than an hour a day of screen time.

My husband was seen here a few months ago and expressed concerns about the vision in his left eye. He was told that nothing was wrong and that there was no explanation for the issues he was experiencing, yet he was still prescribed glasses — which did not help. Because his symptoms continued, he went to another eye doctor for a second opinion and was told he is actually going blind in his left eye and that nothing can be done. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with the misdiagnosis and the way we were treated. We will not be coming back.

I had doctor Angela F Costa and she was a really nice doctor she did my eye exam perfectly and my eye glasses prescription was right first time around which was great. Also my rescent time I had doctor Maria Kirkpatrick she was really nice as well and explained everything in detail to me about my concerns about the pocket behind my eye and said she would keep a eye on it every 3 months and said if I had any questions or concerns she and her staff would be there to answer any questions I have in future. All the staff members that work there to help the doctors out is always nice and happy to answer questions as well. If you need to get your eyes checked and need glasses this is a great place to go, both doctors in there is very professional and very nice and knows what they are doing and
