Virginia Heart - Purcellville

I see Dr. Crimm at this location. He is an excellent doctor, and I would highly recommend him. His staff is always friendly and helpful. He takes the time to review medical history and gives plenty of time to discuss issues with the patient. My wife is disabled and we have seen many doctors over the years, and I would have to say that Dr. Crimm is one of our favorites.

Virginia Heart has been our cardiac care provider for decades. We are seen in the Purcellville office and for cardiac specialists in the Falls Church office. Sadly, Dr. Safko in Purcellville office retired a month ago. She has been beyond wonderful, always taking her time and making sure we understood our care. She will be sorely missed. I have no doubt we will find another cardiologist in that office that is similar. Drs. Rashid and McSweeney are our EP cardiologist and as far as we are concerned they are the very best ever. We cannot recommend Virginia Heart enough, they are the only cardiac group I would recommend.

I love the staff and doctor here. Everyone is super professional and patient. The horrible scheduling department costs them the one star. I was told to set up follow-up appointments but nothing was available even 6 month out. When I told the scheduler I was left with no choice despite doctor's order, no other option was given. When I insisted to speak with the office directly, my intention was questioned. I said I was not happy with the situation and wanted to make sure delayed follow-up would not be a risk to me. Her immediate response - you are not at risk. I said "with all due respect, you are not my doctor hence you are not in position to give me any comfort with your opinion". I have now been to this location twice. Everyone from the front desk staff to the medical staff is amazing!!! My only regret is that Dr. Safko is retiring. She is WONDERFUL!! I feel confident that the care will continue to be top notch. I have never felt rushed and feel that the medical staff truly listens, a rare occurrence sadly in many medical settings these days.

Had heart problems all week. The soonest they could get me in was a week later. They send me away tell me to take tests elsewhere over the next two weeks. They have no ability to do anything there nor then. They schedule me for a revisit to review my results THREE months later ! No information. I could be dead by then !
