Vince Montes, MD - Western Washington Medical Group: Endocrinology

Dr. Vince Montes is an excellent doctor for treatment of diabetes. There is no cure for diabetes yet but he helps to control it. He prescribed Dexcom G7 sensors which sends the blood sugar readings to your phone continuously. He prescribed Insulin and suggested dose to inject daily. He also prescribed Maunjaro to reduce body weight which helps to control blood sugar effectively. I am very happy to find Dr. Montes and I would recommend my diabetic friends to see him for treatment.

MY experience with Vince Montes has been disappointing and dismissive to say the least. I have been seeing Vince for a little over 6 months, and each appointment has been worse than the last. He does not listen to me about my symptoms, does not take into account a comprehensive overview of my health, or my care. He does not even familiarize himself with your chart beforehand. He is unaccommodating, inaccessible, unhelpful, and frankly dismissive of symptoms. He does not provide patients with context or clear communication of their diagnosis, and uses confusing medical jargon that does not help patients understand their care. Dr. Montes is wonderful. He’s highly skilled, well trained and personable. He has a great memory so he pays attention to the patient during the visit, not a computer. His staff is kind and efficient. I highly recommend him.
