Villas of Holly Brook Assisted Living & Memory Care: Bethalto, IL

Wonderful establishment. They truly cater to each individual need. The staff goes above and beyond. Stacy is a wonderful help and has been with me every step of the way!

I have no family there yet but I visited to get a good picture of what they have in terms of helping my father live with Alzheimer’s. The Executive Director gave me a personal tour and answered all my questions. The memory care residents seemed happy, contented, and were friendly to us as we walked around. I guess a fresh face was novel. It’s certainly more affordable than other places I’ve consulted. I hope to be able to get my father a placement there as soon as we my folks are financially able to do so.

Moving parents into assisted living is never easy but the entire staff at The Villas Bethalto has been kind and accommodating throughout and has made this change so smooth for my family. The facility is modern, sparkling clean, and full of amenities - from serene places to sit down if you get tired walking to lunch to a movie theater. It is a wonderful place and I am so glad we found it. Our parents continue to rave about how nice everyone is - highly recommended.

The Villas of Hollybrook located in Bethalto presents itself as a relatively new, faith based facility. It is a lovely, physical environment. Unfortunately, that’s as far as it goes. My parents have lived there for approximately 1.5 years. During that time the quality of the meals has regressed; the number of qualified staff has decreased; the housekeeping and maintenance are poor and the internet is extremely poor. Numerous complaints have been given with a promise that the problem will be resolved in two weeks. After a year, still waiting. Due to medications being missed, I have taken that responsibility away from the staff. The majority of the CNA’s are very loving and caring but they are not properly trained and are working 12 hour shifts with approximately three - four caring
