Where do I begin, there are so many fronts that this practice had failed my pet in regards to prescribing medications that have serious side effects and I can't believe for one minute that she was unaware of. My dog had been on Apoquel for 4 straight years, which I believe played a significant role in him developing a pancreatic tumor due to this medications mechanism of suppressing the immune system. She had to be aware that there were some very concerning issues related to this medication when prescribed long term, yet she continued to prescribe it, having no regard for the consequences. I changed to this vet because of the akc registry and its closer to where I live however it takes a certain kind of vet to examine a pit bull and the last vet I seen at this place didn't even examine my dog like I asked unlike healthy pet veterinary they really took their time their and got acquainted with my dog so they could examine her cause she's getting old and she doesnt like people to touch her. So im switching back to healthy pets they are way more.thourogh and I feel like the level of care is much higher. At village Square its like they are just there for the pay check if that makes sense so I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone with big dogs since thats all I have.

We have been at Lantana-Atlantis animal Hospital ever since we moved here three years ago. It was so hard to get my dog medicine and we were unhappy with the service. I got a beyond med insurance plan from my employer, and this veterinarian was one of the providers. Thank goodness, we found them! I brought my dog, Eli, for his first visit today and they were the kindest people! They have a sofa that made him feel right at home and calmed him down so that he could get his allergy shot. They were transparent about their pricing, and their prices are less than half the cost of Lantana-Atlantis animal Hospital. They made sure that there were no other dogs around when Eli was walking between rooms because they knew he was not good with other pets. Plus, they have an amazing online pharmacy that

The team here is so helpful, it feels like a family. Both Dr. Carmona and Dr. Douglas really care about my dog. They're mindful of the recommendations that they give. And I trust that their judgement. I really appreciate everyone that works here, down to the technicians and front desk associates. You can tell they are a staff that is valued and reciprocate that value to their patients.
