Vial Family Dentistry of Reno

The staff are prompt and personable. I recently had a tooteache, and a time constraint. They saw me the next day and Dr. (Matthew) Vial did a thorough exam and explained possible causes and options. Yesterday, I had my teeth cleaned, and was impressed with the hygienest, who was also thorough, complimented me on my oral hygiene, and recommended that I switch to alcohol free mouthwash, because alcohol those with alcohol can dry the mouth. I had recently noticed that my mouth was very dry at night.

Crown looks SO great! Technological advances make all the difference (from the old crowns done before I got to Vial Family Dentistry). Thank you Stephanie for your professional, kind & gentle assistance to Dr. Vial as it made all the difference.

The Hygenist was excellent, however I had to wait 30 minutes extra after rushing to be there early. I was also told that X-rays are mandatory. I do not want to take X-rays routinely- since I do not have any symptoms. I should have the ability to decline X-rays (or any service) if I so choose. Also, way too many reminders to show up to my appointment on time, with a cancellation fee as a stick.

Wait times are often long, myself and my partner have waited anywhere from 30min to an hour for a scheduled appointment. Myself and two of my family members have had our appointments rescheduled multiple times. Doctor cut my gums while thinning my teeth for SureSmile. The staff is very friendly and personable. Place is super organized and clean. The location is in a good part of town.

This is true family dentistry. For all ages. Professional and friendly and everyone there just does an awesome job. Its hard to find a new dentist that checks all the boxes. These guys are the best.
