All Dr. Shahab's Appointments Cancelled, Told to Wait 2 Months for Next Appointment Received letter a week before my appointment informing me that it was cancelled because Shahab left the practice. Letter was sent via bulk rate extra slow snail mail that takes 3 to 4 weeks. Letter from Drs. Haque and Alcock stated that "member of GI Team will call you to reschedule", which never happened. When I called the number listed, the assistants were apathetic, rude, and wouldn't listen. They ignored the letter and had no respect for patients or Dr. Haque. The assistants displayed abandoned child syndrome. They complained that Dr. Shahab had walked out on them which greatly increased their workload. They would not give me priority scheduling that was promised in Dr. Haque's letter, and kept complain

Very hard to get appointment and the first time you will meet the doctor is at the colonoscopy scheduled by his assistant at first appointment. Prescribed polyethylene glycol for cleanse but didn't work - it didn't work the last time I had a colonoscopy either. I also got an infection from the IV the nurse put in my forearm and which was not properly removed and resulted in blood spillage. First time for that, especially since previously surgical nurses put the IV in a vein in my elbow or hand without any issues. FYI - I've had five colonoscopies previously so I know what works.

They do not seem to do what they say they will in the context of connecting and making sure the procedure can be scheduled. One effort, then nothing. Nobody is available via their phone all the time. This is nuts.

See reviews don’t lie. I physically had to drive to the location to get an appointment because they wouldn’t answer the phone. They are terrible.
