We found a severely injured tiny kitten in the parking lot at my workplace and I was told by the emergency vet hospital that she [apparently] had a large hernia that needed surgery. My regular vet referred us here because it was large enough that it would probably need a mesh to repair, but we needed to wait until we got this .9 lb baby up to at least 2 lbs before they would consider operating on her. Fast forward 6½ weeks and we were finally able to go see the surgeon, Dr. Joe Glennon. Upon first meeting Dr Glennon, I really appreciated his calm demeanor and that he seemingly didn't mind listening to the whole spiel of little Sophia's journey, what I'd been told by the previous doctors that'd seen her, or explaining to me what he saw in her paperwork and what it all meant. Dr. Wormser did an amazing job on my cats' surgery. She and the techs took such great care of him and obviously care a lot about their furry patients. They were also so kind and understanding with me when I was feeling anxious. I couldn't be more grateful to Dr. Wormser and her very kind, knowledgeable, caring techs. The only reason I took off a star is because the receptionist was not friendly and often treated me like I was inconveniencing her. She also contradicted what the Dr and techs said more than once. The office manager wasn't friendly in my brief interactions with her either. Regardless, I would highly recommended this place if your pet needs surgery. We are into a tough spot with our amazing 4 year old boy. Dr. Wormser saw us today and talked through options and realistic outcomes. I was quite emotional. She took all of it stride, was very open about offering options that may not be worthwhile. It is a one hour drive for me to get to their location. We have a vet specialist about twenty minutes away from where we live. I am so thankful we were I produced to this practice. I did not feel pressured, did not feel like it was a money grab, did not feel like I had to make decisions right away or that I could really make a wrong decision. While the situation with our guy doesnt seem like it will resolve, I still left there feeling relieved knowing there was no pressure, and that I am educated on our options and outcomes. Thank you!

Dr. Glennon, Talia and all the staff were amazing. If your pet needs an advanced surgery don’t hesitate at all. My Houdini was treated like a patient not like a just another number there. He will be up to hiking again in no time. He’s on crate rest for a bit now. He says thank you!

Dr. Wormser is by far the best veterinarian we’ve ever worked with. She genuinely cares about her patients and their families, and she brings both compassion and expertise to every case—treating each animal as the unique individual they are. We’ve been working with her for about a year, and I’m incredibly grateful for the thoughtful care she’s given my dog. The rest of the staff is equally wonderful—always welcoming, attentive, and supportive.
