Veterinary Emergency Group

I had a great experience at Veterinary Emergency Group. I was seen within a minute of walking in, which immediately made me feel relieved. The open space lets you see the staff working, and everyone was very professional and kind. Dr. Michaela Fahey was especially helpful and informative. I’ve had stressful vet experiences before, so this felt completely different. Even the cost surprised me. Very affordable for a ER. Really grateful for their urgency, transparency, and care. Absalom and I truly appreciate everyone there.

I had never been here but my maltipoo had surgery the day prior which was a Friday and of course they were closed on sat. I knew we would need more pain meds than they gave me but wasn’t going to argue. Of course the day after surgery my Kai started whining then she started crying. I gave her what I had on hand and in an hour she was just pathetic. We arrived at VEG an and was immediately greeted by a triage team ready to pounce on any emergency. They took our history, discussed options and we came up with a game plan. They gave her an injection and 30 minutes later she still needed something for anxiety. They gave her something for that too. They offered us drinks or snacks if needed and had comfy little dog beds around if needed. The layout is an open floor plan with 5 or 6 exa

The doctor was making us all comfortable even they had to do the procedure.Im happy we got to say good byes and this is a recommended place for vets and for animals. We will always have our guinea pig in our heart. She was a friend a animal and most of all our pet. We 100% recommend this place because the staff was kind and helpful to us.

My wife and I took our pup to VEG the other night. We arrived anxious and concerned. The team we had was amazing. Our lead tech Sarah never left our table. She was knowledgeable and compassionate. The Vetranarian Dr. Bercier (spelling) was able to diagnose the situation right away. Her knowledge gave us confidence that our pup would be just fine. Thank you to the amazing staff, although I hope to never see you again.

I’m incredibly grateful to VEG ER for Pets in Palo Alto for taking such amazing care of my cat during a very stressful emergency. Dr. Huraibi and Dr. Kim were both wonderful— kind, knowledgeable, and very reassuring throughout the entire process. This was honestly the best animal hospital I’ve ever been to, by FAR. The whole team was compassionate and attentive, and it was such a relief knowing my cat was in such good hands. Thank you VEG Palo Alto for the excellent care.
