Veteran's Administration Dermatology

I am flabbergasted by the treatment to our veterans at the front desk. Horribly rude and smitten with themselves. Funny they have “God loves you” signs at there cubicle/ windows. Not very Godly. Not to mention the front lobby and bathroom are filthy and disgusting. Every single person that went to a window was treated with disrespect. Not given a moment to finish a sentence. Interrupting and condescending. Not one time did anyone thank a patient for their service. We normally are seen in the Villages or Orlando. The difference is night and day. Shame shame shame

The lady working the desk was EXTREMELY rude to my mom today during her visit, I don’t know her name (but will be finding out) I hope she is ASHAMED of herself and the way she talks to patients. No one deserves to be treated that way, let alone at a doctors appointment, LET ALONE A VETERAN! I will be doing a follow up complaint because if this is how she treats people she needs a new job. Shame on her. (Reading some of the reviews I see this isn’t the first time, which is so very sad)

The African American lady behind the desk is very rude. I told her we were a few minutes late because the VA sent the company I work for the wrong address. And she told me no we didn't send you the wrong address. Even though the blind veterans standing next to me told her you guys sent the wrong address twice. She wasn't going to hear it . Even the four or five veterans that were sitting in the lobby said that she was very rude and is like that all the time how do I report this person. Our veterans should be treated with dignity and heard. Not treated like s*** because somebody's having a bad day.

I have been very pleased with my care here at the VA Dermatology in Gainesville. From front office support staff, to the nurses and finally the Providers. Thank you for providing this care to us Veterans. 🇺🇸

A primary had misdiagnosed and told me I had Advanced Squamous Cell - which means I knew I probably had a 5 year expiration date. I'd already started planning how to provide for my kids after I was gone. The folks here though? They correctly diagnosed me with Basal Cell, which Isn't fatal. They also removed it with quickness and professionalism. I can't say enough good things about these people. I love them and they are Awesome!!!!
