I moved to the area recently and needed to find a new optometrist. First time without a vision plan and I found my exam with Dr. Vest to be thorough and very reasonably priced. After having progressives made with the new prescription, the glasses weren't quite right, so I asked to come back in for a retest. Dr. Vest compared the new glasses to my old progressives to point out where they were made differently, which might affect how well they worked for me. He also did a full retest of my prescription based on my feedback after trying the new glasses. All of this for no additional charge - I really appreciate the service and his working to make sure I end up with glasses that work for me!

Excellent service! We saw Dr. Vest at his office in Harrisonburg Walmart. We didn’t have to wait long to get an appointment, and we were able to get back-to-back appointments. Everything about the visit was positive. Dr. Vest and his assistant were friendly, professional, and thorough. We paid our $10 VSP copay and took our scripts inside to the Walmart Vision Center where Emily helped us get our new glasses ordered. 5+ Stars!

Dr.Vest is amazing. Very caring, professional, and informative with a great sense of humor. You feel as if you have known him most of your life. Dr Vest's assistant is lovely and as helpful. If you need an eye exam Dr. Vest will be a great addition for your eye care.

My whole family sees Dr Vest. I’ve tried other optometrists in Charlottesville. He’s a good guy with a great bedside manner, he doesn’t overcharge and treats you like a person. I will never visit the eye doc beside Costco again. They charged way too much and we’re so rude.

Dr. Vest is very professional, pleasant, caring & thorough. His assistant, Deanna (not sure of spelling) was very pleasant, as well. She was able to schedule an appointment for me in a timely manner.
