Vero Beach Care Center

The people in this place are amazing!! I was scared when my father was admitted here because the facility is older but getting to know all the staff have made me feel comfortable as well as my father. All the staff has been so helpful but one of the biggest help is Nicole who helped me with figuring out his follow up appointments and getting him to the appointments. She went so far that she called them and scheduled them for us. I went from almost losing my father one week to now in the hands of people that will help us get him back to as close as we can to normal. Thank you🙏 so much for everything.

My biggest concern is the place is understaffed. While the therapy portion looks fine and well run; it is the staff supporting the patients for meals and bathroom assistance which appears problematic. The facilities are bare minimum; the room assigned to my mother had two TVs ( double room). However one TV did not have a remote and had to be plugged and unplugged via the electrical cord via the outlet, Without a remote, the volume and channels could not be adjusted and/or changed. The other TV had a remote however it wasn’t properly set up as the only reception received was ‘snow’. Very depressing. There were some excellent staff members but also a few with less than caring attitudes.

My grandmother was here for rehab. Excellent staff! Everyone was kind, attentive, and made sure she was comfortable throughout her stay. The therapy team was wonderful and really helped her regain her strength. I’m very thankful for the care and compassion she received. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Vero Beach Care Center. I was impressed with current changes, facility cleanliness, nursing management, and the overall inviting and sense of welcoming my family and I received. The nursing staff were attentive to my concerns and made me and family feel heard. Overall, I would recommend this Facility.
