I had my wisdom teeth removed in Sept 2025, it is now 5 months later and I am still trying to get them to bill it correctly so my insurance will pay. They require 100% upfront payment, which was fine, as they assured me they would bill my insurance and then I would be reimbursed. This hasn't happened, and it is close to impossible to get ahold of someone in the billing dept to correct it!

Huge than you to Dr Boerman, Shelly, and Joy (and all other staff who assisted me) who took phenomenal care of me for my wisdom teeth removal! Everyone was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and I left knowing exactly what to expect for my recovery. Very grateful to have had such a seamless and warm experience with the VT Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team! :)

I was initially nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed, but when I came to the office, Dr. Scott and his team helped ease my anxiety. They were incredibly thorough and patient, breaking down everything I needed to know—from the specifics of what was wrong with my teeth and the costs, to what I could expect during the procedure and my recovery. The day of the extraction was super efficient. I walked in, checked in, and paid. Once in the chair, I signed a few final things, and I remember them putting a few items on me and giving me the needle. Before I knew it, I was asleep, and when I woke up, the procedure was done and they helped wheel me out. I felt so much better afterwards, both physically and mentally. They got me in quickly, and I had a good experience with Dr. Scott and his surgical assistant Edina. Extraction with site preservation, with Novocaine. My comfort level was assessed throughout the procedure and I didn't feel a thing.

From the filling out of forms to kick off the necessary work to the actual extractions, the experience was not only professional but also thoughtful. This is big time dental work and I felt communication was clear and that they listened to my needs/concerns.
