I was very impressed with Dr. Westra’s explanation concerning my brain scans and especially loved that he puts them up on a big screen to show me exactly what happened to me when I had a bleed that put me into the I.C.U. a month ago. He was able to put my fears to rest moving forward since he had ordered a more recent scan that showed it had completely healed. I highly recommend him for his very professional handling of my case.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Wagner and we absolutely love her care! She definitely takes the time to explain everything to you and answers any questions or doubts you may have, She was quick to get my husband the care he needed and his surgery, he's almost 3 weeks post op and is doing amazing! Alisha (I believe is her name) is AMAZING and very efficient at handling documents that you need, we felt very needy when we needed documents filled out for my husband and I job since we were taking a leave for the surgery, she has done everything promptly. my only complaint is the main girl at the check in window who I believe also answers the phone, she is not nice at all, never greets you well either walking in or on the phone, always makes you feel like an inconvenience and once even hung up o

Was originally referred to Dr Westra in 2022. I was very impressed when he informed me that surgery should NOT be the first move. He is very knowledgeable and assisted me in receiving all treatments available in an effort to avoid surgery. Ultimately in 2023 Dr. Westra performed a Lumbar Fusion. Having placed my trust in him is absolutely the right decision. I continue to do annual follow ups and look forward to seeing Dr. Westra each time. His staff is likewise very friendly, efficient, welcoming and always helpful. I have already recommended Dr. Westra and do so to anyone in need of an excellent Neurosurgeon.

Dr Westra is kind, thoughtful and highly skilled in his field. On 12/26/24 he performed successful L3-S1 Decompression & Fusion on me. My nerves were severely pinched prior to surgery and their recovery is slow but Dr Westra has been supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend him to perform all surgeries in his field.
