Ventura Dental Group

I don't usually write reviews, good or bad, but I am compelled to share my experience with Ventura Dental Group. I have been a client for over 2 years and have always received excellent care. But recently, I broke a tooth which resulted in a good deal of pain. I called Dora at VDG, and she got me in to see the Doctor in 45 minutes! Needless to say, I was grateful. Everyone there, Robyn, Shirley and of course the Doctors, have exceeded my expectations. Nobody likes the thought of going to the Dentist right? Well, going to Ventura Dental Group is actually a pleasant experience if you can believe that. Thank you VDG!!!

HORRIBLE experience with Ventura Dental Group and the rude office manager, Robin. They wanted to drill into my teeth for cavities.. Told them I would have to reschedule. Didn't have a good feeling to begin with at this DIRTY Dental facility. Went to another dental office for a second opinion and full deep cleaning (at a better price) and the 3 (THREE!!!) other Dentist there were not able to find ANY cavities and could not see why Ventura Dental Group would recommend that. Do NOT let VENTURA Dental Group mislead you!!! I have NO Cavities and they were ready to DRILL into my GOOD Teeth and then Robin, the "Office Manager" told me those 3 other Dentist are wrong?! I think Ventura Dental is crazy, Robin has poor people skills and the head dentist Doctor Schaefer can't even return my messag

I used to only smile with my mouth closed due to some chipped and discolored teeth, but now I can smile showing teeth again! The office staffs are super friendly, and helpful. I never have to worry about figuring out my dental insurance. But most importantly, the doctors are always gentle, thorough and they do excellent work! Thank you.

I sadly have had issues since day one with this office. They failed to mention Ortho only in Office once a week. He is in other locations and even if emergency we have to wait to see him till day at our location. He put many brackets on loose baby teeth and one even came out and was hanging and we had to cut it out ourselves and when I called the lady at front just noted unsure why Dentist would put them on baby teeth. They then tell me what appointment is for and do something completely different. Had APT yesterday and waited in front of dark room to find out they forgot to call me to tell me has out of office and to reschedule. If my Daughter had not started her braces on second visit I would pull her in a second from this place. More trouble then I have ever experience at DR office!

This has been my dentist for the past 8 years, and I always have a painless, pleasant experience. The assistants are friendly and my doctor is very gentle. I am very happy here and appreciate all the care given.
