VCA Worth Animal Hospital

Brought a beautiful stray male cat that we found years ago here. We called him “Stinker”. The cat had a white film over his right eye. The Oriental doctor there examined him and told us that his eye had to be removed due to an infection. She said if we did not do that it would spread to the other eye. My wife said “NO!”. She told the doctor that she was going to trust in the power of God to heal his eye. The doctor gave her a weird look and said “Well anyways if you change your mind, here is the information to go forward with the eye removal”. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Seven years ago we brought our dog here and were told she was “perfectly healthy.” THREE DAYS LATER she collapsed. A massive tumor was found near her heart and she died a week later. Somehow we kept coming back because we liked Dr. Mack — but now that Dr. Mack has left, this place has officially shown its true colors. Earlier today our dog was having a clear allergic reaction. We sent my husband there immediately on a Saturday. First they said a tech could see her and a doctor would step in if it got worse. I’m sure they’re fine vets but I’m genuinely disappointed in my experience with them. I called them over a month ago to ask if they take hedgehogs, when I was told they do I proceeded to make an appointment for nov 8. When I asked her how much it would cost she told me it was free since I was a new patient. I was surprised, anyways that was the beginning of October all this time goes by I’m preparing for the appointment this weekend and then I get a call today to let me know that in fact my appointment will not be free because I have an exotic animal. On Tuesday, my family had to make the hardest decision to put our dog Lex down. We brought Lex to the worth vca for 17 years, and they always treated him so kindly. Everyone there was always so sweet and good to our pup. They were so respectful, patient, kind, and compassionate on Tuesday, and that brought us great comfort during such a hard time. My mom just picked up his ashes and molds, and they did a really beautiful job. Thank you!!

This clinic has been such a blessing for our family. I have been taking my dog there for 7 years. They recently remodeled the whole clinic, it is modern and very clean. The veterinarian and vet technicians always know what they are talking about, are professional, courteous and great with my dog. The whole staff truly cares about their patients. You can be assured your in the best of hands. The moment we walked in the door we were helped by Cathy. I also called the clinic later that day and spoke with Cathy.
