Its crazy because I never thought I would bring my dogs to VCA Coast because since 2015 I've been taking my dogs down the street to VCA Hermosa. I am so happy i brought to VCA Coast.... from the gentleman that took my call and made room for me the same day to bring my dogs to all the way to the receptionist's. This 5 star review is for Dr. Alyson Hopkins... She was so friendly and my dogs loved her. She was great and definitely would be going back. Dr Hopkins thank you for taking care of my dogs and giving me a follow up call to see how they are doing.
I highly recommend VCA Coast. The staff are professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and make you feel like family, all at the same time. From puppy vaccinations, dental maintenance, wellness exams, surgeries (including cancer removal!!), euthanasia + everything in between, they have been wonderful. Always helpful, accommodating and supportive. I am so grateful my dogs are cared for by VCA Staff. Dr. Valerie Bueno is our fave. She's amazing, along with the entire staff.
(From an over protective / obsessed dog mom) I want to say Thank you to Dr. Bueno for keeping me at ease with her confidence that my Bobby is in good hands with her. . Bobby needed a dental cleaning but his heart issue made me very nervous for anesthesia. Dr. Bueno made sure to read the anesthesia clearance from his cardiologist to make sure everything went smoothly. . She has a lot of patience and makes sure she answers all questions to the best of her knowledge. . To Nayeli, Monica, Kara and Adriana, Thank you for taking such good care of my little man .. He loves it there every time . . . VCA Coast is definitely an amazing team ❤️
I’ve been coming here for 5 plus years now, and the front desk staff is ALWAYS rude. They act like they don’t want to be there at all. And they look at you like you’re inconveniencing them by showing up. I’m done with this place. It’s not even personable, they try to upsell you on crap you don’t need all the time as well. It’s not about your pet’s health, it’s all about ROI above all else.
