VCA Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital

I would give 5 stars for first visit with my senior doggie with dementia. Dr. Jason and his female assistant were great. I don't remember her name. When I had to put her to sleep two months later it was like night and day. The people we saw were all new to me. We waited a long time which was hard. The Dr. and helpers were not very compassionate and very matter of fact. I asked for Dr. Jason but he was in surgery. The tech who had to be called in to find a vein was the only person who showed understanding. It was gut wrenching. I could never go back there. I had to have my friend go inside to pick up ashes. I never received a condolence card. Our former vet from CA sent me the most beautiful sympathy card.

We moved to Ocala in June, we called VCA at Buffalo Ridge for our lovely Rose. During the move we noticed a lump on her eye lid. This popped one night right after we moved into our home. They were so passionate with her and the staff is polite. They made us feel she is part of their family. I love her doctor. She so soft spoken and answers any concern we have. Just this week we noticed her eye was getting another infection. I called the office explaining the situation, and asked if we could pick up the same prescription ointment or should we make an appointment. The person I spoke with said, no we have a refill and they would contact us when it was ready, she did advise it could take up to 48 hours. Such a great, knowledgeable, caring and attentive place. I'm so impressed! I couldn't be more happy to bring my little angel here, Pumpkin. They treat her like if she was their own child. They are so wonderful and knowledgeable.

We just moved to the area and was happy to choose VCA Buffalo Ridge. They were and are able to accommodate me on Saturdays which is so helpful with my job. My first time there today everyone was so nice and helpful. Got myself and Aldo into a room immediately being that he is very energetic towards other animals. Always wants to play. The staff was phenomenal with learning Aldo’s history quickly and making him feel comfortable. Very happy to have found this place. Thank you!

Completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I called last week or the week prior and spoke with “Adeara” idk how to spell her name however that’s the person I spoke with. Firstly, I was calling to have my boarding booked and was told untrue information. I was told my dog had to be a client of theirs which I was going to do anyway bc my dog is a puppy and needs her first appt. I was also looking into getting my dog spayed. So I called today to get my dog in for Thursday however due to scheduling that can happen which is understandable BUT when I call and already booked my dogs boarding which is a high priority must and it’d been scheduled per adeara NOW ITS NOT!! my schedule is already jam packed and now I gotta do this allllll over again and to top it off the person that called me back personalized my fr
