Vaughn Vision

I went to Vaugh Vision in Saratoga for a reading glasses replacement. Dr. Vaughn performed a thorough check up on me. I have a slight stigmatism in my right eye and thought I may need transitions as I wear reading glasses but he was honest and said, I just needed an increase on my reading glasses. I appreciated his honesty in that he didn't try to oversell me on something I didn't need. I then sat down with Kelly, the Optician, and she helped me choose what was best for me in my price range. I am not a regular wearer of glasses and my favorite reading glasses were pretty banged up. With her encouragement I got the scratch protection on my reading glasses. I really appreciated the time Dr Vaughn spent with me to get my prescription correct. He was so thorough and did tests for my astigmatism I never had before. I went to his office to get glasses because my opthomolgist doesn't sell glasses. I told Dr Vaughn's office how I've had trouble with my prescriptions and haven't been able to get glasses the last 3 years that were correct. The office suggested to come the day after my annual eye exam with my ophthalmologist to get a refraction and compare. It was scary how incorrect the prescription from the ophthalmologist was. It increased the power in the wrong eye! I got my glasses and it's the best my vision has been. Everything is so crisp and clear. You don't realize how bad your vision is until new glasses. Dr. Vaughn and the entire staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very pleasant in their interactions with me. Dr. Vaughn's relaxed, professional demeanor was most appreciated. His office staff always maintains the high level of care and customer service as Dr Vaughn does. Nikki in the front office is the best.
