Bad with explaining things and calling when lab work is abnormal. Even if I asked for a call to explain things better, she would still only briefly ensue me back. I know we’re all busy, but it was unprofessional and subpar. Had to advocate for certain lab work to be checked and she tried to deter me from doing it all, only to find out it was one of my leading problems, once revealed. Shame on her. It was unjust and I would have hoped as an African American woman that she would empathize more. Truly disheartening.

Really cares about her patients, and always follows through. Patient, kind, always listens, never rushes, and really is dedicated to her patients. After 15 years with Dr. Gavin-Headen I can give this review with countless experiences.
