The worst experience of my life!!! I have ongoing medical issues, I was instructed to go to the ER during a flare of my symptoms. The staff was beyond rude and uncaring. All they wanted to do was throw pain meds at me after explaining to them not once but three times that I could not use pain meds due to my condition. One nurse actually told me “we aren’t some magical facility that can help you”!! They ordered a CT scan at that point and after waiting two hours for that they came by and asked if I had been told I needed a urine test prior to CT (mind you I have had a complete hysterectomy and zero chance of pregnancy but I understand protocol). I asked why I was not informed of this two hours ago, the response I got was “I don’t know, I guess we just forgot”. I was then informed it would b

Both times I have been here, I have had terrible experiences mainly due to the staff’s bedside manner. The first time, a doctor openly mocked me for my heart rate spiking after being informed I needed an extremely high-risk, invasive procedure. The second time, I was completely disregarded and told a syncopal episode was “just anxiety” despite my insistence otherwise due to my having a history of MI. It turned out to be a very serious reaction to a new medication. The wait time (6+ hours) is also atrocious. I highly recommend going anywhere else as the commute is far more worth your time and level of care if you can afford to do so.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Had really high hopes about Vanderbilt and their “teams” of essentially every specialty doctors. The front desk, and nurses were all super nice and helpful if I can say one thing positive, but it ends there. We spent 11 hours in the ER and came out with no help, diagnosis, and came out worse than when we went in between stress, no sleep and lack of compassion and they made us feel like we were cattle being pushed through the shoot and they don’t care about you. My wife needed a Neurologist and they send in probably a 25 year old resident Hannah Elaine Branstetter who sounded like she was just using ChatGPT, was short and didn’t care on top of being uneducated, and even spaced out at one point and admitted and said “sorry can you repeat that again I was th

I was admitted to Vanderbilt Trauma unit after a serious accident. These fine Drs and nurses literally saved my life. I received the best of care while I was there and I will be forever grateful. Highly recommend.

Only giving 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. This was the worst experience to be there 4 hours and in a room full of people no one being called. I asked 3 times why lab hadn’t called her back. They didn’t even have her down for lab when she presented with short bowel syndrome, fatty liver and hasn’t eaten in 4 days. So disappointing. We drove from Alabama for the best care and didn’t receive it. Do better Vanderbilt.
