Van Dyke General and Implant Dentistry

I visited Van Dyke Dentistry a few weeks ago to have a very painful tooth extracted after being turned away by several dentist offices in Gainesville for a week. Not only were they able to see me within hours of my initial phone call even on the week right before Thanksgiving, but Dr. Smayda was able to extract my tooth within less than 30 minutes upon my arrival and at a super affordable price which was amazing considering I don’t have dental insurance. The icing on the cake was all the extremely helpful and friendly faces who help me along the way. I’d like to give special recognition to dental assistants Raena and Scharma and receptionists Gloria and Natalie for all of their help as well. The staff was exceptionally knowledgeable patient kind professional. Dr. Van Dyke has a winning team. From Reina to the front desk and then they help me get financed and they did a lot of work for me here because I was stressed out. I recommend everyone in Gainesville come to Dr. Van Dyke‘s office and be treated like a superstar. Charles Baird, physical therapist certified athletic trainer, EMT matches and kinesiology.

I called in for an emergency same day extraction due to a very painful tooth. They fit me in right away and were very nice on the phone. The receptionist, hygienist, and Dr. Van Dyke were all very friendly and I was in and out in less than an hour. Highly recommend!

I was able to get an appointment and get my tooth pulled the same day I called. I had a misaligned but descended wisdom tooth that was making me bite my gums and cheeks every time I chewed, so eating was very painful. The whole appointment was done in 30 minutes! The assistant was very nice and comforting, and later on that night the dentist even called to check on me and make sure everything was going well. I was referred by my fiance, so they even give a discount for that!
