VAMC Lake Nona, FL

This facility is great. It is well planned with beautiful wide hallways. There are help desks at each end to point you in the right direction if you are not sure where to go. The staff is friendly and professional. I get the vibe that Veterans are actually important to each employee. The building is ten years old, but looks like it is brand new. It is well maintained and easy on the eye.

Awesome care provided during my surgery from nurses, doctors and anesthesia to include checking in at front desk. The place is clean and the employees are caring, respectful and thank you for your service. Great teamwork vA Lake Nona. Keep up the great work you are all doing.

I had a great experience with the Physical Therapy office on the 3rd floor today, especially thanks to Zoe at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful with transportation arrangements, scheduling appointments, and answering questions. Her kindness and professionalism made the entire visit smooth and pleasant

I went through the emergency room. Best medical care I've ever received from a military facility, not a high bar to reach, but still. Also this hospital is beautiful! I was surprised by how nice and new looking everything was.

Honestly.. I went to the ER to check on an infected stitching and to get my stitches removed (a very quick process). The staff had no sense of urgency and it was incredibly slow paced. They weren’t treating people in the ER with urgency, or didn’t seem to want to get people in a timely manner. I waited for 2 hours and still had 10 people infront of me. I would say if you have a real emergency do not go here.
