I recently got a puppy from puppy city and they suggested us to go to valley vet. After a disappointing first visit I decided we would give them a second chance which ended up being a huge mistake The receptionist was very unpleasant and failed to greet us. When asking questions we found that they lost the records of our first visit and they never apologized for it. Things only got worse when we spoke with the vet, Dr. Strickland. She was very very erratic with her behavior and failed to be able to answer basic questions. At one point after she had given my puppy a vaccine she couldn’t even answer what shot she had given him or when a follow up was needed. She actually referred us back to the receptionist for vaccination dates needed. When I continued to ask questions in a polite way she

Where do I begin?! The lack of communication is horrendous. Recently bought a puppy. Took here for first visit and opted for a focal test. They did not let us know for almost 2 weeks that this puppy had Girardia (not sure of the spelling) even after several calls with voicemails left unanswered. Almost lost our warranty on puppy because they did not let us know results within time frame. Then gave them a second chance, scheduled them for boosters. They called and sent out a text to confirm the appointment, which was texted back yo confirm. But when called to let them know we would be a few minutes late, was told that the vet was out in vacation and they needed to reschedule the appointment! Ridiculous. Taking my puppy to a more responsible and COMMUNICATIVE vet. Especially one that won't

Very frustrating experience. The receptionist was rude and didn’t greet us when we arrived. They had lost our records and couldn’t explain what shots our puppy needed. What frustrated us most was that the veterinarian didn’t seem to know the answers either and actually referred us back to the front desk for information about our puppy’s condition and vaccines. It was shocking and disappointing to see a vet unwilling or unable to guide us on something so basic. We left feeling dismissed, confused, and very let down. Our puppy deserves much better care than this.

I understand that Dr Strickland was booked on her first day back from vacation. What bothers me is that no one called to check on Wolfie at any point, even though updates were faxed. It’s not like I was a new client. She didn’t make it, despite efforts from other vets. I made the painful decision to have her euthanized on 2/5/26. I do not blame Valley Vets. I want to make that clear. The issue here is professionalism, reliability and compassion. I really didn’t want to alter this review, but I don’t feel that my previous feedback is still accurate in regards to my experience here.

Take your dog's here, if you want decent service. Do NOT take your cats here. It's a business, and staff make it CLEAR you are a just a customer with a wallet with no consideration to the delicate environment a vet's office needs. My pets were both patients for two years here, and it was certainly a fine experience. The male vet who handles the dogs is great. The female vet who handles cats always came off as rushing our appointments, as if she had anything better to do, and consistently lectured me about the treats my cat receives. Not in an informative way, but overly long, very uncomfortable focus. She did this to me on three separate occasions, even after i changed my cat's treats and noted it with the front desk AND her, meaning it was never changed in my cat's file. We finally swit
