Came in at 8am for really bad sore throat. Was seen by a nurse and NP pretty quickly, but felt like the NP was very dismissive with my symptoms. They did a covid/flu and strep test which were negative. The only time I interacted with the NP was when she told me the results of the test. The NP then said she suspects it’s a viral infection and that I should get better in a few days. She didn’t even look at my throat or feel my lymph nodes, just assumed I had a viral cold and sent me on my way (the only symptoms I had were fever and sore throat). I felt like she just wanted to get through as many patients as possible, whether or not they received adequate care/treatment. Today I took my son to Valley due to thinking he had strep. We do not have insurance & are self pay. The initial receptionist (I wish I had got names but was to flustered) I dealt with was very sweet & easy to deal with. She told me because I had not been there in a while that just to be seen I would have to pay $170 & then any additional for testing (strep swab is $30). I asked her if that all had to be paid up front or if they billed out like they would for insurance patients, she said I had to pay at service. Okay, so I asked if they take care credit, another receptionist said they did. So I left my card with her so I could get paperwork quickly filled out. Great place. I went last year and today and both times I had the same experience. No problems just walking in, everyone who took care of me was professional. They listened and answered all of my questions.

Glad our dentist Rocktown recommended this urgent care facility. Best people and actually care and listen. My prescription was being filled at my pharmacy before I left the parking lot. It rate 11 out of 10.

I would rate them a zero if I could. I had to have two stitches put in my finger. They told me to come back 10 to 14 days later and they would take them out and it would only take a few minutes and no charge. I come back today, 12 days later, and they now say they’re going to charge me for another full visit to take out TWO stitches, but literally take less than a minute.This would end up costing me hundreds of dollars since it’s January and I haven’t even met my deductible yet. This is completely ridiculous and poor patient care. I will NEVER go here again.EVER.
