To anyone looking for a caring and professional medical team I highly recommend Valley Endocrine. I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences at Dr. Norwoods office from my very first appointment. Upon walking in you’ll find the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. The waiting area is always clean and organized. The staff are courteous and professional. They all work well as a team and patient care is an obvious priority. My husband and I are impressed with how Dr. Norwood spends time listening. He is an attentive and a highly knowledgeable Doctor. He has the perfect balance of direct explanation and empathy. He explains the diagnoses and treatment with transparency. He also takes thorough notes which is a breath of fresh air in this day and age when some doctors don’t make time to do so. I

I have been a patient of Dr. Norwood since I was 20 years old, now 40! He also took care of my grandmother- even going to the hospital to check in on her after having a major surgery that saved her life, if it wasn’t for his persistent request to get her in emergency surgery she would’ve passed. When it comes to my health care he has always been blunt and honest about what is going on and what needs to be done. I’m a bit of a worry wart and have bouts of extreme anxiety- he listens to every concern I have and always has an approach with a no nonsense and caring attitude and let me tell you, he has NEVER steered me wrong in all these years. I leave feeling relieved, cared for and listened to. I don’t know what I’m going to do if he ever retires. He is a true legend!

My insurance dropped them last year, but I had a appointment coming up on 9-11-23 I called many times and canceled the appt. They keep sending me a bill for an appointment I canceled. I have called talk to the office over 8 times and explained I had canceled my appointment. They said each time they would look into it, once they gave me a number to billing, who said they only do what the office tells them. Each time I call the say they will call me back....they never do! Still sending me a bill. I don't know what to do or where to report them. If this continues or puts a mark on my credit I'm going to look into getting a lawyer. This is ridiculous. Dr. Norwood is a good doctor.

Dr. Norwood saved my life and added years. There aren't many doctors that have the experience and knowledge that he has. If you want to be coddled, go somewhere else. If you want to live, go see him and let him help you. He is up to date on the latest medical technology and was able to substantially improve the quality of my life by matching me with the best treatment plan available. I felt compelled to write this review after seeing some of the negative reviews. I can see how some people might be offended by his demeanor but he only offers the truth. If he can get you a few years more on this planet then consider that a bonus. I didn't know him before I went in for my first appointment and I had pretty much given up on life as a diabetic.
