Vallejo Optometry Group

Been coming here for years. Jeanette and Kourtney are always so sweet and helpful. The vibe in this office is very welcoming. I love that they keep the door locked since Covid so they open the door and greet every single patient. Love the selection of glasses too. Definitely would recommend!!

First visit was great, I even started telling ppl about them then I called after 3 weeks because that's when I was told they would be in, wasn't there. Cool that's fine I understand. I called the next week, she says they were not there and they sent it in on Nov 8 12 days after the appointment and 7/8 business days for them but with my type of insurance (hella rudely idk if it was Jeannette or Courtney) 3/4 weeks. She puts me on hold and it was there. I come in to try my glasses and it was NOT it and I had to see the Dr again for ANOTHER Rx. The Dr then tells me it was a lab mistake and she doesn't know if they'll send it back because she needs to balance it but now I have to wait ANOTHER 3 WEEKS Front desk staff, Jeanette & Courtney need to take a customer service skills class because I

If there were zero stars I would have given them a zero. And I didn't even get an appointment... Just because I'm not due for an eye exam till sept. The lady, sorry the extremely rude lady that I just spoke with wouldn't even give me an appointment because of that, she never asked me why I wanted the appointment she just told me to to go back to my old doctor which I don't want to and this one had good reviews well those reviews were incorrect it says excellent staff well that was wrong because I just spoke with an unexcellent staff member shame on you..

I'm done with this place. Staff has ZERO BACKBONE. Lab made an error, no problem people make mistakes. Glasses had to be remade was told it would take 10 business days. 10 business days past I call for status of my glasses was told they will call the lab right now. I get a call back stating that the lab said it would be an additional three days. Why? They made the mistake, only needed to remake one lens, and it takes more time to make the one lens than when they made the incorrect glasses. Staff didn't seem to care showed no sense of urgency did not offer to recall them to put a rush on it. Im done

HORRIBLE. They prescribed me the wrong number for lenses so when I received my glasses, I spent three days suffering nausea, dizziness, and migraines. I had to go back to my old glasses to remove the suffering I experienced. Luckily, I visited a different optometrist to have another round of eye checkup and they had a whole different number for my eyes! Unfortunately, since my insurance was already charged by Vallejo Optometry Group, I had to pay out of pocket for that different checkup. I would NEVER go back here. They didn't even do any of the routine tests wherein they shoot air to your eyes, find all the squiggly lines, etc.
