VA Primary Care and Dental Clinic

I honestly have no complaints about the service I was provided by this VA clinic, but I have to admit that my health is pretty exceptional, so my need for care is pretty infrequent and never critical. The facility is very clean and well-kept, and the staff is always kind, courteous and professional.

Diane Rackel is collecting the salary of a primary care professional while being a rude and argumentative presence to veterans. When I have to see her, she will complain about consults that the actual doctors have told me to inform her that I needed to be scheduled for. The office of the VA and the medical profession as a whole will be a better place when Diane finally leaves. If you are a veteran that was unfortunate enough to have her appointed to you, look into local veterinarians. Shout out to the nurse that has to work with Diane. She wears crocs every day, I didn't think you were allowed to do that but I respect the professionalism and understand the need for comfort when dealing with such a person.

Police like to cause problems with vets here recommended someplace else to get care. All they do is gaslight and escalate any situation they can.

Policies like the ones here are the reasons that veterans kill themselves. I thought that what you hear about in the news was that veterans couldn't link their healthcare to their service... But it's not that at all. It's literally that the VA does everything it can to prevent you for receiving the care that they're entitled to. Months spent trying to get a therapy appointment have been almost entirely unsuccessful. Will not refer to community care even though appointments at the clinic are backed up by two months. The crisis line and white house line made no difference. Once I finally got through to someone, I was told that I couldn't do couples therapy and normal therapy at the same time. Top notch. Easy parking. Easy to find your way around. It doesn't have everything that it's sister Ralph H Johnson VA on Bee St has. But my doctors and nurses, and staff absolutely care about me and my well-being and that of other vets
