VA Outpatient Clinic Perry Ga

I came here for lab work and the lab staff was fantastic. They got the results of all of my labs done in less than 24 hours before a primary care visit in Dublin the next day. A few things concerned me though. The handicapped parking is all lined up next to a door they keep locked and you don't know it until you go to open it and you cannot. Then you must go to another door. This defeats the purpose of the handicapped parking. Second, the staff at check in I'm the main lobby don't articulate English very well and they talk slangy where it's hard to understand what they are saying. Third, in the main lobby, there's a paper hanging indicating it is the lab waiting area. However the lab waiting area is actually in a different area behind a set of doors down the hallway. Trash. Only thing good here is front desk staff and labs. The doctors and nurses are sorry. Been having GI problems with bleeding for over a year. Reported it to the doctor and NP since July of 2024. They have refused the whole time to give a colonoscopy. Matter of fact anytime you bring up anything to these people at the Perry and Macon VA they always mentioning age like young people can’t get diseases or be sick. Went to a GI Doctor in the ATL area, before I could even finish telling her everything she said I’m scheduling you for a colonoscopy. That’s how a REAL and GOOD doctor handle patient care. So for the price of $2000 I was finally able to get a colonoscopy within a few weeks. No thanks to the VA even though I’ve been bleeding over a year and reported it since it started. Thanks fo

I just came to an Appointment here. It is a very nice facility. The personnel are very friendly and receiving. I wish all the best for the people that come and the people who keep this place operating.

Spacious... new facility... close to home... wonderful staff!

Can't call them as the phone system is either non operational or they just don't answer. Even the VA call center can not get through. I've been trying all week so now I was told I have to go in person to make an appointment. Ridiculous
