VA North Battlefield Outpatient Clinic

Beautiful new facility with an incredible staff. The Battlefield VA Clinic makes getting care so much easier and more comfortable. A real win for Veterans in our community. The facility is clean, modern, and Veteran-focused. From check-in to care, everything at the new Battlefield VA Clinic has been excellent.

I am a Veteran. Worst rude, non-smiling, ungrateful staff I have experienced. Do not take your family members here. Very inexperienced staff. Do not realize it is a hospital for Veterans. Doctors do not know how to access your previous VA's records. Pharmacy wait times 1 hour (get it mailed to you). Place is empty by 1555. Staff left in bldg, sit in office with lights out hoping you don't notice them. Not one person said Thank you to me, but I was told 7 times by staff that I was late for my appointment (N Battlefield paperwork has Hampton VA address on it & no address for N Battlefield VA anywhere on the handout!!) Got 2 shots, went to take my arm out of sleeve, nurse just grabbed my crew neck & pulled it down, without my permission (rude & lazy!) Guess she was in a hurry for 1600 li

Today I went for my initial visit at the brand new facility in Battlefield I’d say it’s 8 months olds. From the moment I walked everything was clean everyone was so helpful. My nurse Katrina Brown was amazing very in detail with questions and her concern. My Doc CDR Wilson gave me by far the best treatment and concern towards my care that I could ever want. She was extremely thorough and professional. I have never been more excited about receiving treatment and of a group of providers. Look forward to being part of this VA Health Center. Only bad thing is X-Ray and Lab hours posted and on hand out are not correct.

I have yet to have a bad experience. The only thing of note for me was just that it was a lot of information and the mental health back and forth was frustrating, but my other doc explained it and I got the meds I needed once I went back. Iykyk. Regardless, while I'm new to this process, I'm incredibly grateful for this facility and staff. They actually listened to me, and when compared to Sewells Point, it was relieving for me mentally.

Beautiful facility, really clean, and the layout is nice. I’m visiting for a week and needed a refill. After some phone calls and the staff asking around they were able to get me sorted out. I get that it’s a new facility so some things were figured out on the fly. The pharmacy techs, ladies at the front desk, and the gentlemen that helped me enroll were all incredibly kind and courteous!!
