VA Nashville Regional Office

Useless call with VERA, rep decided to explain the whole claim process -vs- answering my questions because "there is nothing else they can do". Maybe if they would allow Veterans to speak and voice their concerns instead of saying "I see you spoke with someone from our 1800 number yesterday so how can I even help you because nothing has changed in 24 hours". I get its frustrating having Veterans call multiple times a week and quite frankly I do not want to call and speak with multiple people a week, but when no one can tell you why your claim was entered into the system incorrectly despite all forms being correct, a supervisor can do nothing other than submit a service request, note in the system and send an email to their supervisor then we as Veterans are stuck trying to figure it out. F

The worst VA in the United States. Especially the dental department. I am a veteran and had the head of the department get in my face multiple times after asking very polite to step back. So much so a police officer had to ask him to leave. Then Doctor Lee is a liar and pulled one of my teeth out without telling me they can’t get me a replacement tooth. Then blamed me for not reading the internal notes from doctor to doctor.

Government shutdown, they are currently not seeing anyone. Just thought ppl should know before driving 40 mins to come hoping to get seen.

Whom ever David is at the Nashville Regional office needs remedial customer service training. He was beyond uninformed and unhelpful. He kept talk over the service member. I had the same request processed the day before and my husband had to have a separate virtual appt to have the same request processed, yet David kept saying how they can’t process the same form for my husband and then that my VA rep probably did it for my husband. We asked to speak to a supervisor he said we had to come to Nashville in person for that and then when we asked for an employee number to submit a complaint against him he said he didn’t have one. Very unprofessional and uneducated individual working for the VA.

They mixed me up, with a man who has an entirely different middle name and date of birth, to my own. This man is incarcerated. I am not. They suspended my disability benefits, as a result. A simple verification of name and birthdate prior to suspending benefits, is expected. But no, they simply went off a social security number, which the SSA office had already bounced by to the correctional institution, as me not being the one incarcerated. Our birthdates don’t even share the same month, date, nor year. Our socials aren’t even close. Simple cross check of this basic information, would have prevented this. Now as a disabled, father, I’m without my compensation for months, while I appeal their decision. Already proven/accepted I’m not the person incarcerated…yet I still have to beg for my b
