I am very pleased with the exceptional care provided at UVA Family Medicine. Both Dr. Sara Shapiro and Dr. Karen Maughan are truly outstanding physicians. They are highly professional, compassionate, and attentive, always taking the time to listen carefully and address any concerns with patience and understanding. Their dedication to providing quality care is evident in every interaction. The entire staff at UVA Family Medicine is equally welcoming and supportive, creating a warm and respectful environment for patients. The facility itself is very clean, well-organized, and comfortable, which adds to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend UVA Family Medicine to anyone seeking excellent medical care in a professional and caring environment.

Recently, I had an appointment in this place for an annual check up. The doctor only spent 15-20 minutes with me. To my surprise, they billed for two visits for over thousand dollars. It was ridiculously overcharged. I will not go back again.

Kind of just too busy, impersonal, and hard to schedule with them for it to really be worth establishing primary care here. Thought it would be fine for a couple years just as a student but might just have to go through hthe hassle of switching bc logistically it’s a pain to be seen.

I have seen multiple providers now at this location and not one of them has been remotely trustworthy. The last provider I saw and her supervising doctor gave me extremely dangerous instructions in regards to medication. Do not come here.

I am gracefully blessed with the exceptional reception from all associates at UVA, with their genuine kindness, care, and hospitality generously given constantly for over a decade. My deepest gratitude with respect goes to my favorite primary care Doctor. Joshua Eassa is far more forward with knowledge, resourcefulness, and patient listening than any other Doctor in my experience here in Virginia. He is very young, and sharp-minded, most of all, Dr. Joshua Eassa is gifted with authentic humility, and he truly cares for you, you can feel that, as I do.🙏🤍🌿🕊️🌞🇺🇸🦅🌟🗽
