UVA Health Audiology

Went in for a hearing test for my two year old and they were great! Made the appointment on the phone with a nice lady who answered my questions and let me know everything I needed to know. When we got there we didn’t wait long to be called back. I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady that performed the hearing test because she was amazing with my daughter! And also very informative! Couldn’t be happier with our experience!

I took my toddler in today and it was a wonderful experience. From being directed the moment I walked in the door to the check in who were great as well. Then the great reception in audiology. I am especially enamored by Deb and Melissa who performed the testing on my little guy. Deb is a natural! Melissa and Deb are a great team and must be protected at all costs!!! I now have professional crushes on them. They are that great 👍

On Tuesday June 13, 2023 during my visit to the audiology department, I encountered a distressing situation involving one of the nurses on duty. The nurse, whose name I unfortunately do not know, engaged in repeated instances of bullying behavior towards me. This included [describe specific incidents, such as derogatory remarks, exclusion, or any other form of mistreatment.

Audiology NEVER answers phone calls - if they are closed during normal business hours they should so designate on the phone.
