Utah Valley Specialty Hospital

My son was admitted there for about 2 weeks. The facilities were comfortable, clean and the view from the cafeteria was amazing (see photo). Speaking of the cafeteria, the food was very affordable and the cinnamon rolls on Sunday were a highlight. The only thing better than all of this was the care we received. Everyone that attended my son made him feel as though he was the top priority. They were always kind and never rushed or dismissive.

You should come to this hospital. This is my second time staying at this facility and I came back because they are so good at what they do. I loved my experience. The nurses are absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they amazing at their jobs and work so diligently, they really make sure that the patients are taken care of because they love their jobs and care about the patients. I felt like I made a lot of friends. I chose UVSH because I had quite a lot of medical needs (For example I needed four IV antibiotic infusions every day) and I knew that they could handle it. They are very organized and made sure that I was able to get all of my medications on time. This a great place to have physically therapy occupational therapy. Great cooks nurse and pct. The call button for helppeople not so great a few times when early in the morning to go to the bathroom they don't report to the nurse sometimes. I went by myself to if no one shows up. Other than that people been here really great. The doctors her check on you everyday see how you are doing. I would recommend this place for to better an back on your feet.

Patient Safety and Care Coordination Issues. My mother was admitted to Utah Valley Specialty Hospital twice. Her first stay was acceptable, although response times from staff were often slow. Unfortunately, her second stay, which lasted about a month, raised several serious concerns. My mother has end-stage lung disease and significant memory issues that our family has been dealing with for over a year. During her stay, our stepfather—her husband—passed away. Our family had to plan his funeral while she was hospitalized, and because of her memory issues we repeatedly had to remind her that it was her husband who had died. Utah Valley Speciality Hospital was the perfect fit for me. Physical Rehab physcilities are second to none along with competent, well trained therapists who not only truly cared for me as an individual but assisted me gaining strength to return to normal activities along with competent well trained Doctors Nurses, PCT's and supportive staff. I highly recommend Utah Valley Specialty Hospital as the best place for healing and wellness. Terry U
