I spent 2 days without sleeping, with my baby and my wife I went home the second night and came back confident that I would be able to enter with my 12-year-old daughter and the person at the reception from the 10pm shift January 2 told me that I couldn't come in with my daughter because I was already after hours. They think I can leave my daughter home alone without supervision. Also, if you don't have anyone to take care of your child, what are you going to do leave him/her alone? It seems so stupid to me, and she didn't even let my daughter grab her stuff He was a mean person
So I had my anatomy scan here and it was my first time, the lady that was doing it was very rough w me and she would hit my belly w the ultrasound thing not hard but it did bother me. I guess she was doing it because she wanted my baby to move to see better but it was very unnecessary and clearly it wasn’t working the first or second time so i don’t know why she continued…. I will probably give birth at this hospital but because my insurance will only cover it here. I have a birth plan that I hope will be followed i know not everyone is the same and maybe it was js that lady being kinda mean with my body. I will be back and update how I was treated, this time I hope they do follow through with my request and let me do me because Ik it’s my first birth but I have many mothers in my life tha
We were so impressed by and grateful for our NICU nurses and doctors. They went out of their way to communicate information about our baby, with multiple people sitting with us for long stretches of time to answer any questions we had. Very kind-hearted nurses who are just the kind of people you want to work with when your baby is in the NICU.
Absolute BEST nurses, doctors and staff you could ever hope for to be around your premature child 24/7. The NICU is a bittersweet place. Nobody wishes their child was there.. but they are absolutely accommodating and understanding. They WANT your child to grow and progress and succeed every moment of every day. Such love and care in the NICU.
My wife had surgery at this hospital and the service, the professionalism, and the installation is incredible, everything was great.
