Made an appointment, the still made me wait 2 hrs behind all their walkins. What’s the point in allowing people to make appointments if you’re just gonna screw them? Shameful. And the lady behind the counter? Rude from the jump. Maybe it’s because I’m the only one in here under 40. She was polite and CHATTY with the everyone else. But the second I returned her attitude she wants to pretend to be nice? Never coming here again, absolutely ridiculous!
The woman I’m with went to the doctor for shortness of breath, breathing problems, and 101° fever and the doctor said it was bronchitis and didn’t even prescribe her any antibiotics just an inhaler, they gave her one breathing treatment and it didn’t help. They said her chest look clear but why would a doctor not prescribe antibiotics That’s just beyond me, worst care possible do not recommend this emergency room. I would recommend Corsicana or anywhere else, worst care in the world and the doctors don’t know what they doing.
I waited patiently there for 2 1/2 hours and asked how much longer it would take. They couldn’t hear me through the receiving glass and ask me to repeat myself several times. I had to embarrass myself and yell as they didnt come around to the door so I wouldn’t have to. They didn’t bother to go back and check with the staff they just said I have no idea. Worst and most rude crew I’ve ever encountered. I’m going to see if I can find out who the regional is over this office. Being UT health I didn’t expect this kind of treatment. Especially it being a healthcare facility as well.
Worst emergency room ever. The doctors are really disrespectful, while I was there with my mother the staff were being rude, treating us different and kept telling us to wait while my moms hand was bleeding out. We were there for 30 minutes before she finally got seen. 0/10 recommend you go here. Choose Athens if possible
The prompt attention was excellent, which is crucial in an emergency. Dr. J. Bishop was very kind and careful with my baby. God bless them.
