USC Medical Plaza Pharmacy

I truly love LOVE this Plaza Pharmacy. I have been using them since my transplant on December 2018. Never had an issue with anyone. Except a with a negligent "girl" with attitude by phone. Other than that. Not a single issue! Oscar is GREAT and very professional both by phone AND in person. Keck is too far, so we (my wife and I) opted for their mail-order service. Delivery company is also very prompt and courteous. Wife has a "system" where we order by phone ALL THE TIME. thus alleviating useless human contact in the midst of this Pandemia 🙏 May GOD BLESS KECK and ALL their staff for all they do ~~~So grateful~~~

My husband was in invasive knee surgery & I was instructed to go pick up his meds. I ended up waiting over 2 hours for my husband’s prescriptions after being told it would be 30-40 minutes. When I returned it turned into 45-60 min. I was told that it was being rushed but over 2 hours did not feel prioritized at all. We could not even discuss discharging my husband til I had all his meds. Very frustrating & did not seem to coincide with the USC Keck Medical high quality of service. On top of the 2+ hr wait, they got donuts delivered to celebrate Pharmacy Week… which I didn’t feel like this pharmacy was deserving of any celebration when they were not working efficiently for their patients/customers.

Went there for a procedure. And had a great time and thank you to all of the staff ...

I was prescribed an ointment on Monday, and when I asked the pharmacist when I would get my prescription and he said hopefully on Friday. Feels like we are in a third-world country! I am most likely going to find a new doctor who is not part of USC. 5 days to get a prescription is unacceptable!

I get two prescriptions here because I’m a student and it’s convenient but every single time I’ve had to pick one up it has taken at least twice as long as they originally told me or I come back to pick it up and they tell me they actually have to order it. I said the other pharmacist told me it would be 30 minutes and the one helping me currently said “well she only checked at the front not the back so she couldn’t have known.” How hard is it to check before telling me to wait 30 minutes?? Every single time I get a prescription filled here I have to come back three times before it’s finally ready. Figure it out.
